Campbells Russian hamsters are sweet little hamsters. They share the same nickname, Russian Dwarf hamster, with the Dwarf Winter White Russian hamster, but the two species are notably different! Campbells Russian hamsters are nocturnal but you may notice them being active for short times during the day too. Note that they may nip if they feel threatened, so it’s important not to handle them unless they are ready.
